So, when it comes to Microphones I'm totally retarded, but now I need one and my budget is low after purchasing a Novation midi controller, so I've found this Mic and was wondering if I could get a review/example of the quality?
Here are the specs:
Transducer type: Dynamic
Frequency response: 50 Hz - 18 kHz
Pickup pattern: Cardioid - Unidirectional
Sensitivity -65dB ±3dB
Impedance: 600
Cable: Fixed, low noise - 3000mm length
Connector: USB-A
Power supply: From USB Bus (+5V)
A/D convertor: 16-bit 48 kHz
Now before someone says numbers don't matter, judge the quality by the sound which I've heard a few times today, I can't do that just yet, because I need to know if it's worth the buy before I buy it.
Here is the link to the mic
Price is £29.99
Thanks for any information you can offer!

It depends what you want to use the mic for?

Podcasting mostly, but also recording the odd vocal here and there

Yep, and also a graph o the frequency response would be useful. That range could be focused on the mids etc

Well thanks! I appreciate the help, I'll give it a buy and leave a review once I've seen for myself.

If you're going to use it for podcasting and recording some vocals, I'd say it would be ok to use. However if you're looking to use it for recording other sounds to use in your productions it may not be ideal.
But for the price you can't really go wrong if it's just for podcasting and the odd vocal.
