I'm going out to get drunk and listen to Teebee and Calyx. It's been a hot minute since I've anticipated going to a dnb night. I had a rough week though, so I need any excuse to get out of the house.[/b]
haha yea yea - same difference. It still rocks either way! And i get to play to a packed house of 20-something hipsters!

oh yea Perk - u do know that Brian is playin dubstep tonight at the Jazz with Dub is a Weapon....well, during their set break! I may skip out after my set and support.
I was gunna say.... HAHA.
Stoked.. hopefully we can spread the virus to some unsuspecting collegiate hopefuls tonight.

yeah im aware. however, i was out late last night. got 2 hrs of sleep and i feel like poop. im going home early. in danger of being fired only 4 short days before my seasonal end date here. how lame. but im planning on resting. if i get up from a nap and am up to it. ill hit up the dub shit...not down with that BAR place. or hipsters.
you're just too cool for it. thats the real reason lol :P
not too cool. but i support heads who end up playin shit out of this area. so we drive hours to see sets and then end up beat. but all in good fun. i just dont have the energy to come out and support tonight i guess. unless i get some kind of second wind from a nice evening nap

besides...never see you coming out to any of these events to support anyone else.

i support as much as i can locally. Sorry I dont travel 2-3 hours away on a work night to go party - you're right. I used to that when i didnt care about my job. But I happen to need my job now and cant just go out partying all the time and get no sleep and then miss work and possibly get fired.

oh burn. but what happened to the past few dubwars? or weeklend trips we make? we go out of town once or twice a week for stuff and i never missed work but once(due to passing out and not hearing any alarm clock...it happens). i need a job. i have more bills, and more serious bills than you. you go out a lot during the week around this town. so thats not even a good defense. you hold later nights than i do(minus the one or two random times a work week i go out of town).

bottom line is....i would come support tonight if i felt up to it. didnt say NO. but not saying ill be there. i support the locals as much as possible. trust. we have some things coming up you will shit your pants over. and you cant get those people here just buying a record here and tehre and playing it. you have to go support.

and brian to answer your question...joes set was KILLER> he murdered it. seriously. had people holding the speakers back and everything! i danced my ass off for the whole set. with a smile on my face and drink in hand. he dropped some new remixes that had me bouncin pretty damn hard. if this is any warning for what we will get at dubwar...i have one word...

BEWARE!

heavy heavy stuff.

cant view the pic on this computer for some reason. and i know he was busting my "balls"...i was right back at him. sort of. theres underlying issues though that he once said he wanted to "catch up on reading" the one time instead of dubwar. that was just insanity to me. and outta nowhere hes tryin to play it like all i do is go out and party to miss work every day and basically get fired almost every day. not true. just was clearing it up that at least im goin out to support heads that will easily promote our crew. i dont need to explain this so heavily. i dont like people who have the heart and let it go to waste and only use it when they feel like it.

Huge Birthday party at a mansion up on the riviera tomorrow. We have about 6 locals with bdays this last week and the one ahead. (Mine was on Wed.) Should be cool, partying with a bunch of freaks and burning man types, junglists, ravers and the minority dubsteppers here in town..I intend to
A: Drink till my eyes are floating
B: Play a wicked set on these rich-kid fagggot's huge in house sound system that doesn't get nearly enough low end excercise (they all play house and breaks) ((I'm talking 4 dual 18 inch subs here))
C:Blaze this huge Kush-blunt my roommate gave me for my b-day
D:Break something
E:Jump in the pool (possibly naked, possibly clothed)
F:Get driven back to my place by the lovely Lady that's driving up from LA just for my b-day
G: well....you know
H:Wake up and have a bomb breakfast and a few beers of course

Oh yeah, I'm chillin with my daughter tonight. Looks like I got my weekend carved out pretty swell then. 8)

I guess i dont live my life just to party. Plus i work on the weekends now. And the reason i didnt go to the past 2 dubwars is because i hate having to stay up until 8am just to catch a bus back home. I have a great time when i go, but by 5am, i just want to be in my bed. I cant pull allnighters anymore, sorry.
