****Using external hardware effects with Pro Tools****

Post by westernsynthetics » Thu Sep 13, 2007 3:41 am

So, I have a Boss DD6 Digital delay:

and I would very much like to use it as an auxillary send in Pro Tools LE 7.3
This is so I can get my tubby dub & reverse delay's happening in my choons using the DD6.

I have googled all over but the only info I can find on this comes with a price

Pro Tools users (and I know that there aint many in the Dubstep game) help me!

cheers guys

what interface do you have?

make an aux track in the session, then drive your signal from the audio track to the aux track (the light gray area below effects). from aux track, choose input as the bus you are driving the audio in, then put aux track's output to the output you have your effect on.

then make another track for the effect return, choose the input correctly, voila.
