Not feeling this one at all. Far too much mid range noise.

Alie. All these tear out tings Coki churns out nowadays are bare too much like Horrid Henry. What happened to those mad basslines Coki used to build? Nowadays theyre too aggressive and sound more basic in my opinion, tries to hard to make crazy melodies with the mid range sounds. He got it right before; half dubby riddims more stripped back and built around basslines and half tear out madness. He said in that recent interview he aint gonna make 'another officer' or something to that effect, still would like to hear some dubby riddims tho. No one did it like Coki could. Even the old tear out tunes had that melodic bassline thats missing nowadays, the way the bass notes wash over you on Officer, the change in notes on that bassline is magical, so soothing.

what let's this tune down is the percussion imo, not the midrange imo

triple six is the best tear out tune ever made.

unless you count kalawanji and haunted as tear out tunes, which i personally don't.

Lol looks like I'm the only one feeling this one then. I agree that Coki could be more varied with this recent tunes but for me he is the king of tearout, along with some of Kromestar's madder stuff
