That's a lot of cash, by anyone's standards. I've never heard of DJ Pauly D or Kaskade, and had no idea Tiesto or Armin Van Buuren we're still around.
Wow, big money.

Don't blame the man, blame the market. He only does what he does because people are happy to pay him to do it.

Every single person who uses this forum would play crap music and crap nights if that much money was offered.
Like wub said, blame the industry.
I saw a guy on YouTube remake that Calvin Harris tune that rhinnah sung over absolutely to a tee, using about 15 channels.
Is this guy famous?
Unless you got the marketing behind you in pop culture, nobody gives a shit.
These people who listen to this shit, only like it because somebody else has told them its good (ie radio 1)
Armin van Buuren is the most credible dj on that list by a country mile even though I personally don't like trance.

What is a "Calvin Harris?"
30 million a year, $2.5 a month; what the fuck kind of venues is this nob playing? Putin's hooker parties?

ANY press article that lists an artist's performance fee is mgmt/agency/PR strategy. it gives the agency a platform to make & ask for more money next year for the artist. meaning dj bananas made $50k in 2012, so you better have $55k by 2013.
same way in hollywood with movie stars and fees. forbes isn't the tax man. those numbers are guesstimates. there's no way they would know exact figures, and if those numbers are given by mgmt/PR, they are definitely cooked a bit in the oven.

I think that's a dumb thing to say... Where the fuck should all of the money go? To the club? No, people go to see him play... So he's gonna get a lot of money.
