Seeing as you don't pay for your shit anyway, what does it matter? Not like you'll have anything invested either way, so just download whatever you want and figure it out yourself.

which do you find yourself using more and why?

personally i always opt for pro-l over ableton's limiter. same with pro-g over ableton's gate. but for most other purposes in the mixing stage, i use ableton's plugins the majority of the time, for cpu and plugin delay reasons.
