broke people aren't the only ones living paycheck to paycheck. just cause he's "rich" doesn't mean he had enough money after partying etc to buy software. that being said, since he makes so much money FROM MUSIC, he should definitely buy his stuff. i use a pirated version of reason 5, but if i ever got signed or something i would defo buy it.

Being a millionaire and not paying for your studio stuff is still fucking stupid though. I mean surely if you had a mate who made a fair amount of money but shoplifted regularly you'd think they were just being a cock for the sake of it.

Yeah there's no physical product being lost but honestly how can companies expect to be able to afford to develop new instruments if one of the richest producers in the world happily gives out the message to his fans that he doesn't pay for his shit which isn't even remotely expensive. I mean the dude could surely just get some sort of sponsorship in his position and get free synths if he was that desperate to not pay for them?

Basically if you're willing to waste money throwing cakes at people, spend silly amounts on partying and shit and earn enough from just one dj gig to pay for all your synths you've ever owned but still won't invest a relatively small amount of money into your music then you're an utter cock.

I mean what does it say about his attitude towards making music if he can't even be bothered to buy synthesizers?
