i thought the instrumental of Over My Head was technically the VIP if Asteroids and that this was the original...

(I searched youtube for it but can't find it but im sure there is a version of this that came first that didnt have the eery edge to it)

Bit disappointed to be honest. Asteroids VIP is by far my favorite version of the tune, so with its release SYSTEM001 loses most of his interest imo. Had I known the VIP would get a release, I probably wouldn't have bought SYSTEM001. So yeah I'll definitely be copping that new one, but it looks a bit like a rip-off.

Plus, VIVEK's got more interesting dubs to release (Mantra, what a tune!!!) and with the guest mixes he's had on his Rinse show I would have thought he'd release something from them instead (Gantz or LAS). Oh well, I guess these will come after.

He's releasing an album, which I guess will be out in the near future. Let's hope Mantra and Big Bang VIP will be on there.

Same man. But unless its a double pack I am not baggin it. System label is three releases old (bought the first two) and a tune already has four versions... Anyway, more money to spend on other records!

also disappointed with this announcement. honestly I could not care less about having these VIPs, save them for the producers themselves. I want some new tunes, lord knows so many great producers are sitting on awesome tunes. press some of those
