Had a listen to the track, and some of the others on your soundcloud.

I must say, for a 15 year old you've got some tight production skills. People on here might try say it just sounds like generic brostep, but to be honest for a 15 year old you've got some talent there mate! Keep it up!

It's pretty good, although that drop I have heard before, I'm 99.874% sure that all of those bass sounds are samples, but I guess you're on the right path to making some sick tunes, I like this and I don't even like Drumstep.

You get a frowny face for using lies about Zomboy to promote yourself :(

By the sounds of it you've got some good skills, so I'd concentrate now on making your tracks sound a little less generic. Otherwise you'll be written off as just another copycat.

haha no, i meant that the sounds in his song are obviously based on the youtube tutorials "skrillex growl tutorial" "zomboy squeeky synth tutorial", ...etc, hence youtubetutorialstep :)

having said that, it's all pretty well done

Forgive me if I'm wrong and don't quote me on this, but I believe 'Youtube tutorialstep' is a reference to someone who copies sounds from many youtube tutorials like "How to sound like Skrillex" "How to sound like Zomboy" etc, compiles them into one song and calls it dubstep/drumstep, so tutorialstep is a way of making a joke of that :h:

Edit: He responded with a definition as I posted this, but I'm not deleting it cause I took the time to write it.

Haha! Well don't I feel like a twat! :6:

The sounds are very similar to those of the generic skrillex/zomboy et all sounds. But as you say, very well done.

The structure of the track itself is decent and the mixdown is too.

As much as prefer to make all my own sounds (I hate the thought of someone saying, ohh that bassline is out of X or Y tune!), I see nothing wrong with mimicing other peoples sounds as a learning process.

My personal view is that when producing this type of dubstep, it's not necessarily the sound design that's the hardest part, it's fitting all those sounds together and constructing riffs/melodies with them so that they sound good together and flow well - I'd say this fella has managed to do this.

Age doesn't matter to much really. Its cool that theres young producers but a 17 year old can make the same stuff hes making or even a 10 year old with the same knowledge of course

Pretty pointless comment mate.

I never said age mattered, I simply stated that for a 15 year old, this fella has got some tight production skills. Generally speaking people of a young age won't necessarily have the same level of knowledge as someone significantly older than them, and that goes for all aspects of life not just music production. But then of course there are rarities when you come across a young producer who has a natural raw talent; and that was the point I was making about OfficialDisKrete.

There's a word for fellas that say age doesn't matter, and it rhymes with Fiddy Diddler. :x

I never said age mattered
You implied it bro :P

You sure? I can name a lot of producers 16 and younger that are quite good :P

(No I am not saying this is bad. Actually i quite like this :D Keep it up man :D)
