So who's heard Om Unit's new metalheadz stuff? Absolutely on fire at the moment!

Can't get enough of these three at the moment, proper old school dnb vibes!

Yeah that's ^ an interesting article but I disagree with assessment that DnB was deadout from 2004-2010. Sooo many great tunes were still being made, you just had to look a bit harder.

imo

yeah thats a fair point that'd i would agree with as I have listened to/ liked a lot of DnB in that period, though i'm mainly agreeing with the sentiment regarding a particular freshness present at the moment thanks to new footwurk/ 80/160 / hiphop / halfstep influences

Yep, yep, that's fair. I just get a bit defensive when some French breh from the sticks tries it
I'm stupidly bias though - in been in my blood since '94!

That's what I really like about the Critical Music show, they play a lot of hip-hop at the beginning and various other stuff, rather than just 2 hours of straight dnb

New Current Value LP is out, seriously can't think of many producers like him who pump out LP after LP
Interview and mix with him over at http://www.kmag.co.uk/editorial/feature ... rview.html
