Anyone know of a good declipper I can use in FL

Post by ChadDub » Tue Sep 10, 2013 7:33 pm

I have a vocal that is clipped and I want to declip it. Izotop's declipper is good but I don't have it, so I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation of what to use instead? Or maybe if someone has izotope's declipper they can declip the vocal for me?

Everyone look. its chad dub asking a strange question! seriously though is that a real thing? surely you would just record the vocal again properly? unless of course its not your recording or w.e.

I believe that Adobe Audition can do the same thing.

You can also redraw the waveform yourself :) Great if you're into drawing.

Me neither, then again I never got any clipping audio to work with that wasn't recorded by myself :)

Believe it or not I knew I had seen a declipping tool in edison and I was looking for it but I couldn't find it so I made this thread.

And the vocal is clipped because it was just my friend rapping into a rockband (the game) mic. It wasn't meant to be anything great but I felt like making it sound better so I'm "remastering" the vocals/song. It is also a good oppourtunity for me to learn a little about working with vocals. I got the first two verses sounding alright it's just the third one that is clipped so it sounds garbage, aka this thread.

1. Find the vocals.
2. Do everything else completely different.
3. Profit.
