Suuns - Images du Futur

SHXCXCHCXSH - STRGTHS

Factory Floor - Factory Floor

Marcel Dettmann - Dettmann II

Queens of the Stone Age - Like Clockwork

Earl Sweatshirt - Doris

Barely buy any albums, but those are the ones that come to mind.
Actually haven't listened to a lot of Foals, but they were great live.

Chelsea Wolfe - Pain Is Beauty

is good if you like her. Initially I was a bit resistant to checking it as I was worried it may have been a bit more standard and not as good as her others but as a whole it's a very good record.

I agree with most of wubstep's list on this page. May have mentioned a couple myself already here though I can't remember so not going to list them again.

Haven't liked anything they've done since they forgot they were from Sheffield, not Nevada.

Si Begg - Permission to Explode - just came out, but it's awesome and have a feeling it's going to slip under quite a few radars unfortunately

Slava - Raw Solutions - Has a bit of something for everyone, pretty damn catchy also has this really bizarre video from one of the singles

Huerco S. - Colonial Patterns - really good minimal techno

I really enjoyed the E.M.M.A. album. Jahovia with the epic nostalgic refrain, echoing a time when people moaned about warbles and not brostep.

Wasn't the biggest fan of DNA. Though there's some very mixable tracks, I just find there can be a danger with techno albums in that there's just not enough range to keep it interesting throughout. Dettmann II was great though.

My top 10 albums of the year thus far in no particular order:
Jon Hopkins - Immunity
Bonobo - The North Borders
Queens of the Stone Age - ...Like Clockwork
Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels
RUFUS - Atlas
Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience
Disclosure - Settle
Mayer Hawthorne - Where Does This Door Go?
Big KRIT - King Remembered In Time
James Blake - Overgrown

Hoping Danny Brown's Old winds up in there too, I'm waiting til the official release to listen to it fully though.

Also enjoyed Freddie Gibbs - ESGN, AlunaGeorge - Body Music, Author - Forward Forever, Bilal - A Love Surreal, Drake - Nothing Was the Same, Ghostface Killah - 12 Reasons to Die and Chance the Rapper - Acid Rap
