quick advice about mpd32

Post by big_lurch » Fri Sep 20, 2013 5:33 pm

Found a great deal on an mpd32 on craigslist...problem is, the cd drive on my pc doesnt work, so im curious how necessary the software cd thats included will be (i have no idea if its an install cd or just bonus stuff)...was hoping it would install off the usb connect. Also im running vista and iv heard theres some install issues with it? Was hoping if some of yall could break it down for me as im trying to meet up with guy today to purchase. Thanks!

Fuck that cd, never even touched the disc I got with my 24. It probably installs a little midi editor app, the devices
are plug 'n play so to speak.

I'd be very surprised if you couldn't just download what you need. Sounds like the Vista incompatibility issue might require some Google research on your part.

i've been considering getting a mp32 for the past couple of weeks, they look great and seem to have pretty good functionality. does anyone here recommend it, or an alternative?

See the PadKontrol thread that is up now, not to piss on OP's parade.
