Remixing songs?

So how can I do this? I wanna redo no hope city by major look, but im not sure how to completly butcher this, i know people make remixes but is there like a certain software to pick apart songs, take vocals out, instruments out, sorry if this makes no sense, i just smoked

No there's not. You need the separate stems for the song.

Or you can try to do like a bootleg.

So do like bigger time djs just exchange work? Such as space laces reducing an excision song? Cause that'd make sense haha. A

Yes most of the time it is. Check out remixcomps.com there are a lot of competition that have stems. You can always try to bootleg the track you want or you can make an edit.
