Pegboard Nerds bass?

Im stumped by this one
the track is Pegboard Nerds - Fire in the Hole



and I cant crack what they did to make the bass at 0:37-0:38 that appears throughout the track

I thought I had it from a basic patch in Massive with a Carbon WT+ Phase mod + comb filter but I cant get near this sound no matter what I try.

Anyone have any ideas?

You need lots of external effects and processing, just Massive probably won't do the trick.
Massive doesn't really do much internally at all, make sure to applysome effects.

the one before the growl sounds detuned, maybe play around with some detuning

the growl itself is not that hard but i think its done with fm8 or another freq modulator

Dude, as much as I hate massive, you must be using it wrong to say it doesn't do much internally.
