The girl in Tortilla overfilled my burrito and it's split down the side. :(

Think I'm getting skanked everytime I transfer money out of the country to the tune of £50-200 in fees, having trouble finding a (relatively) zero fee method.

Still be looking at paying ~2% fee though not inc. their 'favourable' exchange rates, though that's not a bad one to look into.

put it in your anus when you fly back.

Or is transferring in smaller chunks an option?

Yeah, not a good look for space issues. Plus if I carried it in my hand luggage (the cash, not my anus) I'd have to declare it. Couple of trips doing that and I'd be taken for a 'quiet word' in a side room somewhere as to whether I was money laundering.

soft tacos > burritos any day of the week... especially if they're filled with Carne Asada
