I've always written fairly loose, psychedelic music.
Lately I have found myself not being able to produce because of trying to pigeon hole myself too much.
I've started listening to mixes of different styles and am slowly getting the feeling that it is time to sit down and produce again.

140 doesn't gel with me sometimes.
I either feel like the tempo is pushed or it's too slow.
Quite frankly I'm not even interested in tempo.
I'm moving back towards focusing on Soundscapes like before and adding vibe to that.

Shangaan Electro is what we call pantsula music.
It's township music.
High pitched singing.
Usually accompanied by a metal oil drum guitar and fast repetitive beats.
Female dancers twist with reed skirts.
Male dancers dance the patsula which is the fast foot shuffling twisting style of dance you see in that track.
Basement Jaxx released a track, shitty as it is, it has a good video.
