Joining the online course of your choice is completely free! Simply click on the Enroll For Free button on the course page and follow the on-screen instructions. You will need to register for a free account and that’s pretty much all.
The courses consist of numerous video lessons and last for 6 weeks. I took the Introduction to Digital Sound Design course by Emory University last year and it was a worthy insight into the world of audio design for me.
I highly recommend that you join these courses (at least the Introduction to Music Production one) if you’re a beginner and looking to take your production skills to the next level. Happy studying dear BPB readers!
The coursera stuff is really hit or miss IMO. But, there's nothing wrong with free lesions.
I did the digital sound design which I enjoyed. The guitar workshop was meh, and songwriting was decent, but nit as good as I was hoping. Might have been the teachers though.
