He just always come across so smug and creepy (for lack of a better word).

He's like the weird guy with a van convincing the girls to join him at his "studio" to take some "tastefully erotic" pictures to help them get started on their "modeling career."
The one difference is Terry Richardson actually got famous from being that guy.
