Built a really sick kick sound that I can cut off after 80hz and it still sounds fucking heavy.

I know that doesnt sound long and I know there are people who go years without seeing there children (I cant imagine that). I havent not seen them fotr a couple of days since both were born and the ensuing sadness of not seeing them has made me quit smoking, caffeine and sugar and read constantly as a way to get through it. my thoughts are: I'm sad (not just now but I have had a lingering depression for half of my life) and I take these drugs (yes the three I mentioned are, as well as much stronger ones Ive tried) as a way of numbing or distracting me from my issues when theyll always be there and to get through the otherside I have to go through it. and so I did. and that month is over and at three I get to embrace them and Im probably gonna cry cos Im sad like that but whatever. cant wait!

Yeah as a song in a mix, interesting to see what Oneman does with it. Suits the video as a little teaser though.

Could be an album intro/interlude song forthcoming dmz w/ midnight and woman -t-

So yeah, today I popped my head into my local record shop and found 2 copies of Burial & Four Tet - Moth/Wolf Cub just sat there in the racks! This is the same shop where a couple of weeks ago I also found a copy of Coki - Lucifer/Ruff Lovin. Sometimes it pays to live in the sticks 8)

Moth/Wolf Cub has a repress (or maybe a couple) so it's in stock in a lot of places, I think. Finding that Coki piece is unlikely though!

Regarding that Oneman Solitaire mix. Maybe I'm missing something, but what's so special about them? Like the first one, I heard about it, thought it might be a CD release or something, but it was just a mix you could grab an mp3 of? What distinguishes it from his other mixes?

I realise that it has been repressed, however it is sold out pretty much everywhere online now + I didn't manage to bag it first time round so was very happy to find it!

Mixing a bunch of dubstep records at ~175 is fun as fuck. Filth by Skream into Learn by Mala is absolute jokes :cornlol:

He said he wanted to be more experimental with it.. plus its his own series not for Rinse/blogs ect. Its an excuse for him to have some sort of launch party and tour. Think he toured quite a bit for the last one.

Must be frustrating being just a DJ (nothing has happened on 502 for a while) and just waiting on bookings. If he can do a mix and have a launch night with a lineup of his choosing + tour off the back of it, go for it!

Wish he'd do more with 502 though.

I might be making this up but I thought the idea was he made a mix by seemingly hitting random with his collection and trying to mix whatever is thrown up with the last random song, kind of how he gets these seemingly odd blends that work.
