Alright so my Motu 828 MKII has just decided to give up on me, like completely there's no fixing it. I need a new interface asap and as i get 20% on Focusrite products i'm thinking for me its between the pro 40 and the forte. I've got a rack so can easily mount the pro, i'm not sure why but i'm more leaning towards the forte. I've heard its offers audio that is ' class leading '. I'm planning to try before i buy to get a low down as well. But obviously the pro 40 has more ins/outs, but so did my motu. I just think the forte would run more stably, what do you guys think? Or would you recommend any others for £400 ish?
Cheers in advance!
Interface Focusrite Pro 40 Vs Forte. Or other..?

The forte has better converters and mic pres, it does sound great.
The Saffire has lower latency and more i/o options.
You'll be able to run more plugins and instruments with the saffire as the drivers are excellent, but if you dont need the ins and outs, the smaller models are exactly the same quality for less money.
