If the feeling is so different, at least explain what feels so 'wrong' about it.

I'm reading about a poltergeist that took place in ylöjärvi finland in 1885. It is also one of the few cases in the world where a thing like that ended up as a court case. Genuinely creepy shit dun kno why i always end up reading shit like this in the night

don't ever study history, then.
I'm currently writing a paper about some witch burning action that took place in central switzerland. what's really creepy is the way the court worte everything down; prosecution, torture, and the eventual death of that poor girl. their attention to detail and the analytic style is proper mindfuck material.

was reading about some witch burnings that took place in my town in the 1600s a month or two ago. whats really creepy is that the first accuser's family still lives in town and is like one of the richest and most powerful.

that's a cool find, mate! I love reading on the history of my city. even more if you can connect the stories you read in those sources to places and people (or their offsprings) that are still around. feels really rewarding - and sometimes makes you think.

there was this swiss izan who wrote really disturbing articles for the "Front", a tabloid that appeared once a week between 1932 and 1943 (I think). the guy later became the University of St. Gallen's director and worked for several banks.
Walter Adolf Jöhr is his name. and now check this: http://www.fgn.unisg.ch/en/Walter+Adolf+Joehr+Vorlesung

Not real commercial success, but Endgames were from Scotland (I think) and they had some pretty funky tunes.
