Re: Best Crystal Maze Zone?
Just grabbed a mint crystal maze board game off ebay for a tenner. Christmas time sorted at the Thomas house.
Re: Best Crystal Maze Zone?
There was always some gimp with huge glasses that got locked in on his first challenge. Id have just left them there

Re: Best Crystal Maze Zone?

Re: Best Crystal Maze Zone?
Aztec stage was fucking sick...you got to ride on a canoe. Medieval zone was fucking terrible, crappy looped sound effects and the retarded challenge with his Mum as a fortune teller.
Re: Best Crystal Maze Zone?
The one where you had to drive the little car round the maze in future zone was beast.
For you foreigners, this was the pinnacle of 90s tv

Re: Best Crystal Maze Zone?
I always liked Ocean and Future the most. Atmospheric! Plus they usually had awesome props and stuff for the challenges rather than some rubbish wooden / fake stone stuff.
If I ever went on the show, I think I'd have problems running around for the camera without bursting out laughing or singing the music...

I think Crystal Maze is one of those shows that is never off the air. With the right amount of channel hopping and pre-planning, you could've watched it 24/7 from 1995 onwards.m8son wrote:i think maybe i wasnt being completely serious

Yeah I watched it at that age for sure. I remember most stuff from that age to be honest. Definitely what TV I watched. I remember exact moments relating to music from back then actually too.
I can remember listening to Pink Floyd's High Hopes first play on the radio in the car in a traffic jam in Enfield. Listening to Jethro Tull's A Little Light Music album in the car on the way to Wales for a holiday and Howling Wolf cds in the car on the way to visit relatives. All of which definitely happened before the age of six.
