Pretty much anything with "Beyer Dynamic" written on it.

Have a look at this thread:

If you have a search under 'headphones' there might be some more useful threads. Hope this helps.

Ultrasone Proline 750s are great production headphones if you have the cash.

Probably not good for DJ use, though.

Sennheiser HD280 Pro's are very good and durable and have excellent acoustic isolation and sound.

Phoned up Sound Control and asked if they had these:

They said Aye and I said Great I'll be down after work, stick a pair under the counter for me. Got there 5 hours later and they were gone, so the guy gave me these at the same price:

I have these and use them for checkin the low end cuz i dont have a sub.. comfy and noise cancelling so you wont here the other noisy bastards in your class, not real good for an actual mixdown tho... well cheaper than the HD-25's too :)

great headphones, I swear by them for DJing over anything else. Shit for accurate monitoring though.

Go with some AKGs or Beyerdynamics and you can't go wrong. :4:

what do you know about HD sounds systems, I need some information on 3rd generations HD sounds technology. Does they effect on our ears, feels and our thinking to listen sounds?

I love my AKG 240's, only gripe is they tend to get a bit uncomfortable at time's.

You won't find any headphones suitable for both producing and djing.

Get the AKG 240s for producing, and if you can, get the Pioneer HDJ-2000 or the V-Moda M100 for djing.

go for closed back ones like the 990 so you don't bug your classmates.
