what about sandwich grills then?
are they long forgotten already? i got mine about three years ago when i moved out from my parents and i swear for a couple of weeks my diet was mostly grilled sandwich. i've forgot about using it nowadays though but it's amazing i think

I've got a Breville one, but I left it at my old flat when I moved.
Think I'm gonna get a Foreman Grill soon though.. that should do for the odd toasty.

You have to leave it for 4 or 5 days to wait for it to cool down though.
The lack of scum filter on our kettle freaks me out a bit. The element looks like its been at the bottom of the ocean for a few millennia.
