Hell on Wheels is helping me with the post Breaking Bad depression. A marvellous series with a some completely twisted characters.

Indeed he is. As is the Swede, one of the most twisted characters I've seen on TV.

Has anybody mentioned HBO's Rome? It came out years ago (like 5 or 6 I think) and only had 2 seasons but I just finished watching it. It was clearly cancelled because the storyline finishes so abruptly, but otherwise it's great.

Yeah. I mentioned it on the last page and I think it has it's own thread. Watch 'I, Claudius' next!

Someone has to, it's soo good!

Is Ambassadors worth watching? It's Mitchell and Webb, but not sure about the writers.

Enjoyed the first one - Robert Webb is a little bit too Jez-with-a-proper-job, but that's probably just because I've watched far too much Peep Show over the years. David Mitchell really works as the Tory-lite ambassador. Definitely going to stick with it.

I Claudius is great! I watched the whole of it on UK Gold at some point in the 90s... wouldn't mind giving it another look actually.

On a slightly lighter tip, we've just started on Modern Family after a recommendation from a friend... very funny, but could do without the slightly cloying "Oooh, isn't it wonderful being part of a FAMILY" speech that they seem to inject into the end of every episode.

I got hooked after the first episode, really really good series. Rome & House of Cards are the best TV shows I've seen this year.

Started re-watching The Thick of It last night, such a good TV show. Need to get round to watching Veep at some point.

I watched a few episodes of Veep on the last plane trip I took... VERY funny at times; not sure why I haven't picked it up since actually.

Just started watching the Borgias (Fringe wasn't cutting it for me). Still on the second episode. At times it's a little slow but that first episode with the poisoned chalice and buying the papacy and all that was pretty exciting I must admit! :U:

Hopefully I stick with this one
