You should have given them back a signed copy of the inventory with changes on, there's not much you can do otherwise

If It makes you feel any better, most of those companies rip the landlord off as well, massive mark ups on any work that needs doing to the property..

mate, they will still charge you for getting a new door and sending out a guy to do it, all it means is you wont have a fixed door and will have to pay for another door

I have a mate in Bristol who got charged £100 for a cleaner to come in and wipe the fucking skirting boards.

me and my flatmates got charged 230 quid for cleaning an oven. I can buy an oven for half that...

If its something you've damaged yourself they should give you the chance to fix it yourselves...
