Michael Chiklis went to my high school
I used to live in the neighborhood where they shot the shield (and was pretty much the neighborhood that the show was based on). One day I was going to Rodeo Grill for my VEGGIE BURRITO, when a cop waved me over to the side of Sunset, I stopped and a dodge truck, or some suv came flying through the intersection with a dude shooting a hand gun out of the suv. I was like what in the royal hell, and then I saw the cameras. LA moment where you legitimately don't know if you are in reality or a tv show. In that case, it was a tv show based on a reality.

Rampart, but Rodeo was over in Echo Park, but those worlds overlap.

Please tell me someone is as fucking mad for Baordwalk Empire as I am. Series just finished, blew me away. Nothing in the Wire, the Sopranos, Breaking Bad hit me that hard. Someone?

Thought it was superficial and salacious, but each to his own.

Superficial? I thought if anything people wouldn't like it because it's dry as fuck, for the most part. Acting is quality, script/writing is ridiculous, so many interweaving stories, so much brilliant chemistry between, not reliant on twists yet throws a lot of curveballs at you. I'm just fucking jizzing my pants all over it.

Assuming you're ignoring my opinions from my last post, they are what? Game of Thrones sounds gay as shit but there must be something behind the hype.

GoT is wicked but I wouldn't necessarily say it's better than Boardwalk Empire. They're two very different shows. Not really comparable.
Edit - yeah, after a quick look at their current programming it seems ebrums is either chatting poo or he's a massive True Blood fan.

Nah in all seriousness The Newsroom is pretty sweet. I enjoyed the first season but haven't seen any of the second. Still as good, yeah?
