Brand new to production, started messing around in Ableton for fun last year and starting to really enjoy myself, getting a little more serious about it.
Heres a new tune I made last week. First track I've ever mastered (with the help of YouTube) not sure how I feel about it. Gets a little boring, I'm thinking it needs vocals maybe, not entirely sure how to go about doing that though.
Let me know what you think!

Hey man, It's not Drumstep, or even Trance I don't think. But what it is, is an excellent effort after only a year's worth of 'messing around'. I certainly wasn't making tracks as coherent as this after a year.
You're right though, does get a bit samey at the second section, and is pretty quiet too.
Nice one for posting, and if you're stuck on what to do to make it more interesting, my advice, (personally) would be to take what you have learned from this one and move straight onto a new project. Sometime's it's best to just know when to move on, rather than rack your brains figuring out what to do with a track that feels finished, but is also lacking a certain something.
