The suddenly they pop the trunk and up comes the 20k rig on Hydrolics (I think?)

they then blasted out a 30 min selection from the Sound off album

It was one of those 'special' moments from my dancing days that I will never forget.

Must have been having an off day - his scratching has been tight as anything else i have seen technically.

+ is it my mind playing tricks or does he use his scratching to trigger his bass lines, effects etc...???

Tipper has indeed produced a few dubstep tracks of his own, and included them in his sets during 07. The one most recognizable is a dubstep remix of his own track Swipe {from Relish The Trough} .. its ruff and wobbly .. when tipper scratches over it during his sets it takes on another identity again.

whilst here, we may as well announce there are a plethora of new releases coming in the next few weeks and months [as follows]:

1. his vinyl Back Catalogue [all the old Fuel bombs etc] has been digitally remastered by tipper himself, and will be released exclusively on Addictech in DEC.

2. new uptempo breakbeat album [and likely his last one], called Tertiary Noise, and featuring all new tracks of his own, along with a couple of his preferred productions from the back catalogue. The album will consist of a DJ Mix of the entire release, along with each of the tracks unmixed. Expect to see it online in early March, through iTunes/Addictech and most of the other digi-stores.

3. new mid tempo warbbler with several dubstep productions yet to see the light of day .. and the album isnt even named yet but expect it to drop in July. you heard it here first...

4. there will be vinyl from all the releases, now that we have secured a new pressing partner based in Australia/UK - vinylfactory.com.au [with vinyl mastering from 'the man' Shane the Cutter @ Heathmans] .. more coming on those joints later ... and you ought to check them out yourselves if you are still serious about servicing the vinyl market.

other bits and pieces happening .. Tipper will be signing off an a surround sound deal this month with DTS to provide 'content' in 5.1 and 7.1 [DTS is the betamax of surround sound .. much better than Dolby but not as well known] along with visuals .. and the first release will be The Seamless Unspeakable Something in all new media formats in late 08.

if you are a stonking visuals producer or know of one, we are taking all submissions as potential to be included as part of the release. get in touch through the website if inspired.

as a result of the new studio set-up [he now has two different surround sound systems to produce on/with], Tipper has also been accepting work doing digital mastering. his most recent project was completed for Lexus Hybrid vehicles, seamlessly mastering a compilation for an environmentally friendly release of world music and beats. we're told his rates are fair, and there seems to be an incredible amount of interest in his production techniques after his work on the Thor synth package, and the drum kits in the new Logic update. be in touch through his website if you have a mastering project you want him to consider ..

one last thing .. there is a small mixup [and genuine human error] with regard to where Tipper will perform on New Years Eve 08 .. he is NOT on the Sea Of Dreams bill, but rather the exclusive Bay Area appearance for this year is on DEC the 29th @ the Regency Ballroom with Zeroground [www.zeroground.sf], with the actual NYE gig down in LA @ Space Island .. these two performances will be the first public preview of many of the new tracks from the midtempo album [inc the dubstep ones] so make it out if you're keen to hear what he's been up to.

cheers to all the folks in Australia who got in touch during and after Tipper's tour there [just completed] .. big ups to Matty 10 Pound and the crew in Bris-Vegas, Noodles and the Bello family, Paul 'Azzo' @ Laundry [who gets double props for being the only promoter to sort out tipper's tech rider properly], and sincere thanks to Spiro @ Earthcore for the effort of both sponsoring the tour and paying us on time ... muchos gracias you grecian violator ..

i wont be heading into other forums to post this, so if you feel the need, by all means cut and paste this into other places you know folks may want to hear the news .. we're too busy with all the new releases :)

I've sat in one of the 2 cars, but he couldn't bang them out 'cause there was a noise ordinance. Used to have a poster with all the specs and stuff that he gave me, but I dont know where that is.

Didn't he do something severe to his eardrums sat in this car, so he couldn't walk for a while?
