haha, tricky fucking Japanese, yes, they could very well be deep into something like that. Then again, I'm not totally convinced the whole country isn't a performance piece, and at some point they're gonna stop and be like, "Thank you!"

On subject, I don't know, music can do a lot of things, play a lot of roles. Doing design type work on my computer, I love to listen to minimal techno. I am fully in the moment with my work, but there is a part of my brain (a troublesome part) that is locked onto the slowly evolving beats. It allows me to work. It makes me more present.

Music is inherently psychedelic. Psychedelic meaning "mind manifesting" and music being just a collection of organized sounds that don't take on meaning until interpreted by a listener. Psychedelic music is like double psychedelic though, in that it's also trying to recreate the style of pattern and modulation you experience while under the influence.

In other words, smoke DMT and play with a grain cloud.
