I've never been interested in football at all, and i still fail to see whats so good about it?

I tried to get into it a few years back because i thought maybe when i was younger, i just disliked it to be different and slightly edgy

but no its still boring as fuck.


It comes up in conversation at work constantly and all these conversations just seem to be speculating about whats going to happen next season. Either that or armchair managers saying "what this player should've done is" or "He should've played this position" etc etc

I cannot stand it. I admire the skill involved but the people who play professionally are all big-girls-blouses and lack sportsmanship, and conversations about it are painfully dull.

Edit - I'd actually like to change my vote to 'not at all interested' because 'hate' seems a bit strong.

the only sports i'd go out of my way to watch is slamball and table tennis

I'm a big Chelsea fan. I also play Sunday league football. Not interested in other sports (apart from extreme sports like skateboarding etc)

Don't see the point most of the time. Hate the culture of it.

But enjoy the world cup. Mainly because I get to go to the pub and drink and shout at the TV with loads of other people doing the same but still. It's a bit of fun.
