BRUV - Space Vibes

Post by BIG » Fri Dec 06, 2013 10:39 pm

So this is something different I tried and I think it has potential. I put most of my time in the percussion in this track.
Tips and feedback are appreciated!
Sorry I can't embed it because it is currently private

Didn't have much hope for this whilst listening to the intro, but I did enjoy the drums upon the drop. Mix felt a bit all over the place and the little mid bass playing throughout was a bit stale.

At 1.10, fell apart a bit there for me, was inconsistent with the rest of the track, and the mid bass sounded, well, shit tbh.

Hats also were quite loud, did you eq boost them? Anyway, like I said, nice drum arrangement, but some mixdown work to be done me thinks.

Yea I see where you are coming from. I lowered the hats and removed the weird synth at 1:10.
I just am not sure how to really vary this up.

Okay I took your feedback into consideration and the song has a whole new feel to it. It still has to be worked on but ideas on the newer version are appreciated.
