HOW TO HAVE A GIRLFRIEND AND MAKE MUSIC

Post by volume » Sun Sep 23, 2007 7:28 pm

That old chesnut. Sometimes men get incredibly anal about making music..and the ladies inevitably become what is commonly known as a "Studio Widow"

It's not good to stay in front of the screen all day..so do make sure you get your vitamin D from the sunshine.
Balance your love life with your passion, too much of a good thing DOES make you sick. You also need to see the world around you and experience emotions enabling you to make that elusive beat. Hey, if your feeling particularly lovey dovey..you might make a sweet tune..if you've had a barney, a more aggressive beat may take force. All things in Balance.
Find the right girlfriend..one with a passion also, so sometimes you have to plead for her attention.
If you can't do any of these..join the Second life fraternity and get a virtual girlfriend.
Skream has a girlfriend and he's made 15,000 tracks+...it can be achieved..do not be lonely.

EXACTLY.

if i didn't work 9-5, then i could spend that time producing, and spend the evening with the Miss's. but for most, that aint an option.

my lady says she'll support me in anyway possible, but when it comes down to it, she can't help wanting to spend time with me, i'm HER hobby.

thats right, here's my opinion

BOYS (most) HAVE HOBBIES, GIRLS HAVE BOYS AS THEIR HOBBIES.

haha, yes, i don't mind being a hobby! its kinda a compliment i guess. its annoying sometimes to have my lady nagging at me to do certain things, but i suppose its better then her being out on the town 24/7 and completely forgetting about me!

by the way, i live with my lady, and she is free to leave the house as and when....i unlock the chains
