The first synth opens the possibility of so many options. For that leading up to the next section you may want to play with ideas. Like are you going to transition into it, or just jolt listeners into the next section? If its a jolt like currently - throw in a background synth and see how that sounds. The kicks are in need of some weight behind them. Right now they just sound like you have muddy bass thrown in there. You have some good ideas, but definitely focus on tweaking the sound and really adding some depth. Play with the way they are incorporated. Delays, reverb, shift the pitch even. Good luck and keep at it.
