I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but I've found an antidote to gearlust (other then creeping American poverty), reading/watching reviews of gear you already have. You think, oh shit, I've got to try that... wait, I've got that, okay boom you go try it! It is actually satisfying. I know this is potentially the stupidest thing I've suggested (and there is fierce competition) but try it if you find yourself lusting.

I got one of these:

And it's very fun for classic rounded tones, deep bass, and general sonic fuckery.

wft, post just vanished...

Here we go again...

You BAD BAD BOY!

Nice one.

Hey, who is that Strider White dude commenting on your track? A dsf forum member?

And, would you like to join us in the TUNA! A weekly song contest located here:

http://www.dubstepforum.com/forum/viewt ... 4&t=279702

Tracks are turned in on Saturday. A grueling pace, but it is really rewarding, and we are starting to get some heads down in that sub sub basement, it is actually quite nice.

No this is actually one of the most genius things I've ever read. Those reviews man, they get ya. It's that sales copy.
I gotta start having date night with my gear instead of chasing strange hardware.

Nice. I think the micro looks like a beast. I almost convinced myself...but I think a Jomox T Resonator has to be next...

Will do. My proper production PC is out of comission at the moment. Unfortunately expecting a motherboard short.

The great thing about hooking is people are always horny. Ill have that production PC sorted with a night on the corner ;p

(reallistically the T Res will be put on hold to sort my computer issues...the repair shop I prefer is in the next town over so the holidays have slowed me down in getting there)

I've never heard of a mobo shorting before - you're lucky it didn't take the CPU with it! (or your house, for that matter.)

Always asus.

Motherboards short all the time. When i say short i just mean a critical componant on the mother board burn out...some little thing. This would be a first for me tho...but I'm waiting to take it in before I spend money or jump to conclusions.
