Absent Closure - Heat Ray [Dark/Minimal]

Post by Rezzo » Sun Dec 15, 2013 12:47 am

Hey guys, introduced myself in the introduction thread earlier, just been working on this track and wanted to get some feedback. I'd like to see this as dungeonish Dubstep, but I'm not sure what I'd really box it up as. Anyhow, I'm new to the whole dungeon/minimal scene and want to get some feedback on my first proper attempt at it. Thanks.

dude ur wubz are nasty as fuck, dig the reverb on it a ton, super powerful! The lfo thing at the start has cool texture but gets kind of messy in the low freqs. Otherwise super tasty man.... texture and atmos are sick.

Thanks mate. In relation to the lfo thing (haha), yeah, didn't really know what direction I was going with that thing. I need to work on my mixing for sure. Still learning on that front massively.

i really dig it man. maybe reducing the amount of low freqs going into the reverb could clean it up a tiny but, but its tight overall, vibez.

Quick edit made. Just fine tuning really, could probably do with some advice on arrangement as I've always kinda struggled with that.

Edit is in original post.
