Peaked with series 3, everything else is a slow decline leading to a dramatic drop off in the final season, except for a climatic jump in the final final final scene where you see Ari's wife's arse.

Ari gets angry and swears.
Drama gets the piss taken out of him.
Turtle smokes some weed.
Accountant phones Vince and tells him he has no money, yet he still buys lots of things.
Drive around in an expensive car for a bit.
Vince has sex.
E gets blamed for something.

Repeat x 8 seasons?!

EDIT: Oh, and Ari tells his wife he loves her.

Weird television connections #5634563478

I finished the Sopranos on Wednesday night and dove straight into the BBC's Great Train Robbery dramatisations (A Robber's Tale, http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... bers_Tale/ and A Copper's Tale, http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... pers_Tale/) which then led me down a bit of a Wiki wormhole reading up on the robbers.

Turns out Bruce Reynolds' (leader of the Train Robbery gang) son is Nick Reynolds, who is now a member of Alabama 3 who wrote the theme tune to the Sopranos. The Televisual Ouroboros eats its tail again.

Yeah, ehbrums, Justified is great, I've not seen season 4 yet either, seems to get better every season somehow.

Why are there so many shows centred around cops? The crims are always the most interesting bit.

I'm not a fan of cop shows but Justified is great.

Which reminds me - if anyone hasn't seen Deadwood you really need to..

First of all Raylan is a Marshall, not a cop. And second, is Boyd Crowder not one of the best bad guys in TV right now?

meh deadwood is pretty boring.

it's pretty funny imo but not much of a plot. the characters are great like Al and the funniest is the Reverend Smith imo.

it's boring get over it!

utter lack of a plot. i know it was cancelled early and all but 3 seasons is enough to develop something of a plot

although like i said there are some very funny parts

:)
