Though i´m quite a fan of GSP, all these changes are really exciting imo. Those divisions been dominated for a long time and i´ve lost a little interest in MMA as a whole. But really want to get back into it now.

Its kinda like when corture and Liddell finally left.
Yeah but with Liddell he went into freefall with his defeats...after he lost the title to Rampage, he lost 4 out of his last 5 fights, with the last 3 of those 4 being KOs.
If A.Silva continues fighting I wouldn't be surprised if that happened to him too. He's relatively old already. Hard to recover from a broken leg at this age and still be such a great fighter.

They reckon 4-6 months recovery for him, then when he comes back he'll be 40?
Silva can't get back from this. Most of his game plan for the last few years has been his attitude and his superiority stems from that same mindset. It's going to be the same as with Ronaldinho I think.
Also I fully believe the same happened to Jones in the Gustafson fight, it was only because of the silly rule of getting more points in the fifth round (championship round) that he won at all.
I don't think ufc is any way as interesting with those two not in their game entirely.
Watched the full PPV last night, you can hear one of the ring crew yell "Compound break!" at someone before the camera cuts away to an out-of-ring shot.
