Hey guys, noob to Dubstep Forum!
Here's a project I've been working on a little. Looking to make some friends and network with all of you talented producers!

I have a lot of frequencies in the mid range so I understand it's a little mucky but it should be cleared up when I get a hand with the mastering!

Nice work so far, mix sounded better than I expected it to after reading what you said about it being mucky.

Would have liked to hear something more than the single hi hat, just for interests sake, would really benefit from some extra percussion to shuffle it up a bit. Nice mid range basses, gnarly, love it.

Thank you for the feedback! I am usually a bit more flavourful on the percussion and drums actually, this time I toned it down thinking people would dig simplicity.

Now I have an excuse to blow it up a bit more! Haha

Definitely agree about the percussion. Bass lines could have a little more contrast too, maybe use 2 patches instead of changing the octave. love the intro

I too was expecting a muddier sound by your comment but i thought it sounded clean to me, i do agree that adding more hats or odd percussion would help the drums, maybe with a a-men type of swing/shuffle

I only recently learned how to *properly* "stereo widen" sounds to make them nice and juicy, and I will likely stack some patches together, but do you think that stereo widening + sausage fattener is a bad idea? A part of me makes me suspicious that sausage fattener is already trying to widen the sound in the same manner.
