Yeah, I work the nightshift these days.

I do about 20 minutes worth of work a night. It makes sense to do it.

Sadly, i'm on salary but looking to go do contracting soon, kinda sick of this place. Couple people I know are getting 40-50 quid an hour for staring at a screen waiting for servers to turn from green to red, then waking someone up and going "yeah, your servers down."

Pc keeps randomly rebooting.
Can't figure out why.
Even when I thought I solved it, bam, reboot.

I'm picking through my windows updates and uninstalling the lot.
The only thing I've changed recently are windows updates.
New PSU which runs like a dream, new graphics card that runs like a dream, no memory issues, etc.

Driving me mad trying to find the problem.

Through this whole pc experience, always issues with graphics cards. Don't know what the deal is. In latest iteration, I swore only nvidia, but I've got an nvidia card in my production pc, and there are issues with it. I really am at a loss.

You know some security systems use unique identifiers on your hardware to validate you, and when you change pieces of hardware, you can invalidate yourself. In fact, I did that when I changed to my current graphics card. Had to call Microsoft and everything. Some bullshits.
