Actually I've always wanted to get it on with a lady to quadrant dub but havent yet had a convenient opportunity so it stays in the collection. Zen-like vibes on that tune.

The tune that it's a dub version of is adequately smooth.

Could be more adequate for some dude on dude action though.

With my EPs I sell 200 pretty quickly and then the last 100 take a while. I'm always giving my own money to the pressing plant/printers and then eventually at some point down the line I get a load back from the distributor. Its a juggling act tbh.

A lot of the bigger labels have pressing & distribution deals. Not really sure exactly but I presume that means the distributor pays for all of the vinyl costs/represses. I don't know if that means they have an influence on the tunes or not? You'd need to ask someone with one.

I can keep my costs down and pay the producer an ok amount because I do my own artwork so that probably saves £80 or something + my mate is a pro engineer so if I need some mixdowns he does them stupidly cheap for me. Always makes me laugh mixing 8 bar down in pro tools :)

My mates who run labels think I'm mad for this but I pay the producer before I get my money. It is probably a bit stupid but I'd prefer to get that wrapped up and then I get mine back further down the line when I sell the rest. Like I said though that isn't the way to do things if you're doing it properly. I just do it as a hobby though and I'm mates with most of the people I put out so I'm not bothered.

Anyway, even though I'm permanently skint I love it and can't wait to get the next batch in the shops.
yh big up keep up the good work got some sick stuff lined up for this year

pls can u tell ur distro that if redeye don't get the j3 ep in the next week or so im going to go over there with some petrol bombs

cheers simon

Ha, I finally got the batch I was missing last week. 9 months from start to finish which is madness tbh. I'm waiting for some black sleeves for the JT EP and then they're both on their way to the distributor.
