I made a hardstyle kick (free samples)

Post by ChadDub » Tue Jan 07, 2014 1:30 am

I got into making hardstyle type kicks last night so I made this pack. It's one kick at three different lengths. They're all at 140bpm. I have a short, medium, and long. Short is a quarter note, medium is a beat and a half, and the long is three beats. I made these for a rap style beat I'm making that I'm using a hardstyle kick on, hence those note lengths. They span from middle C to low C.

It also has three other kicks that I made but didn't do them in all lengths/notes because I forgot to before I closed FL.

If y'all want me to keep making more I will.

Oh and they are quiet, so just normalize them or raise their volume. There's also no lows because I wanted to leave room for them to be mixed with you guys' lows like yall want. Either make a sub for them yourself or just take an EQ and do a shelf from 30hz - 150hz at like 12dB.

One shots don't have a BPM. Why render them at different lengths when you can just put the longest one in a sampler and tweak the midi note length?

Biggups. Just guessing here... are they also named "New_Render09784.wav"?

Look out Vengeance.

It's a hardstyle kick. It's not just a synth. It has a pitch down that is to the 140bpm.

And no, I renamed them.

Ah I get you. I didn't think you'd have such a pronounced pitch envelope. More of a bass at that point. Whatever though, producers do tons of shit that weirds me out. I'm not well versed in hardstyle conventions since it always sounded to me like what all electronic music must sound like to my grandparents.

Anyway, biggup for putting stuff out there. Normalize that shit though.

Yeah haha. Thanks Sunklo. I barely listen to Hardstyle I just like listening to mixes of it whenever I feel like listening to Hardstyle...

Yeah I'm making some more (better) ones and I'm making sure to normalize it before hand.
