So I've been making glitch hop lately (I know this is DSF ) and I've been having trouble making a good whoop to go on the off beat to give it a more jumpy feel.
In Zomboy's Braindead (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bOy9m_OBTE after 1:27(the breakdown)) you can hear a *faint* whoop on the off beat(right in between the drums). It seems simple enough but i can't seem to make it It kind of sounds like it has some pitch bend but im not sure which waveform :l Hopefully someone can shed some light for me.

since 39 people don't want to say shit I guess I'll jump in. I think you might be referring to that white noise sound? Least that's what I think when I hear it. Or it could be an extremely chorus'ed synth with the volume down lower some white noise and a control knob attached to the pitch. Try maybe doing that to a pwm. Good luck hope that gives you at least a starting point.
