It's always been Fergusons greatest achievement to have a squad of subpar players performing above their level imo. Shouldn't be news to anyone.

Get in Chelsea, top of the table. Torres has now scored in two consecutive premier league games. It's the stuff of dreams.

I'm sure Ferguson would've won this year with that squad and I'm in no way a manu supporter btw. It's a fact that even the quality players they have, need loads of special treatment and feeling special- treatment in equal amounts.
Like Nani who's always been like that, Van Persi who's only not been that way for two seasons in his whole career and Rooney who's the most specialist out of all the little princesses in the kingdom. But you can never judge a squad that Ferguson has designed without Ferguson because he has always won with utility players that noone else would deal with. Like Sheringham, Butt, Fletcher, Neville bros or Evans or Welbeck and so on. Those types of players has always defined united and even moreso than their best players who he has often managed to play without for a while or sell on.
This squad is stronger and more expensive than a lot of the squads he has won the league with, the only really baffling part is how they decided to not bring in some alternative players in midfield and why they bought that guy with the hair who is ridiculously overrated. And how naive Moyes has been strategically at times.

imo there's no chance fergie would've won the league this year.

i agree tho that fergie is great at getting the best out of ppl

how can u say that this squad is stronger than some squads he's one the league with tho? i certainly can't remember a weaker united squad

I think this would have been a season too far for Fergus, Arsenal, city and chelsea have all raised their game. He got out at the right time

Looks like relegation for Fulham now. Berbatov will probably leave them in this transfer window. Arsenal want him don't they.

yh i did

yh but players like ferdinand scholes giggs van der sar rooney keane van nisterooy et loads al. have always been a mainstay of the team

all clubs have some average players but this year (and last tbh) united definitely have a deficit of world class players

more so than other years

united have always had a top quality spine of the team (gk cb cm st) which is something else they don't have this year and that's also important i reckon

Moyes should bin Anderson, Nani, Smalling, Young, Jones and Kagawa. Fellaini was a retarded panic buy too.
