I don't really care about genres I just experiment and the result is sound like something existing that's why I relate into a genre.

Re: How many of yall are trying to create a different genre
I have started this track and it sounds different to anything i have done before. Not sure what genre it will falls under. Its at 140bpm.It has a 2-step/garage feel to the drums. I also re-used some female vocals from a metal song i wrote and recorded a few years ago. I have incorporated loads of transitions in the track, as i like having all the sections in a track sound differently. I'll post it when i get it finished. Would appreciate some opinions on it.

Re: How many of yall are trying to create a different genre
I just took a shit, there were like three genres in there.
Re: How many of yall are trying to create a different genre
I seriously remember kids on here telling me that if it wasn't 140 bpm, half-step with a kick on the one and a snare on the three that it wasn't dubstep.ehbrums1 wrote:I must protect the honor and integrity of 130 because it is my duty, but if you are making 134 then you can piss off.
