Post by leeno » Sat Jan 18, 2014 9:30 pm

HouseOlogy is 4!

1st February 2014 @12 Regent St, Cambridge CB2 1DB

9pm-3am

Free Entry B4 10pm, £5 there after.

House//Bass//NuDisco//Garage

After 4 years on the circuit, which has seen us perform at London's Egg club, Newmarkets Innocence, Brighton's Angelik and Cambridge's Fountain, Revolution, Ballare and the Fez club, team HouseOlogy want to celebrate with a bang. This is an event showcasing the very best in underground cuts, deep and G-house ridden disco sleaze.

We have spared no expense in bringing you a very special line up, including two big players!

The Line up Includes;

Downstairs Bar

Walter Ego

Sheffield's Walter Ego has been making quite an impression within the underground house world of late. Releases on Girl Music, Ninja Tune and Bad Taste Records have got the producer, real name Josh Gregory, noticed for his unique blend of garage and bass-heavy house.

His latest release is a three track EP on MadTech Records, Kerri Chandler's unstoppable new imprint. The label has only been running since last year but already it's seen some super-strong releases from Voyeur, No Artificial Colours, Krystal Klear and Citizen.

Leeno and Mr Fella (HouseOlogy Residents)

The deeper side of HouseOlogy. These boys are known for playing their way through G-house, NuDisco, Bass and Garage. No holds barred, if these boys like something electronic, they'll play it!

The Loft

Tony Ryder (Beat Thiefs)

Tony is one half of the Beat Thiefs, who have not only been around the block and back again, but are local lads n all! Tony has toured the world over and has regular podcasts, radio shows and will literally be returning from his tour of Asia the day before our bash. We are very lucky and chuffed to have him on board.

Gig’s and signings to:

Ministry of Sound
Toolroom
Big and Dirty
Strictly Rhythm
Flamingo
Hed Kandi

Lopez and James Norman (HouseOlogy)

These lads focus on the tech, progressive and funkier side of house. Between them they have over 20 years experience and are well versed in dance floor debauchery

Mark Saunders

Mr Saunders has spun at Anthems parties and a host of exclusive little numbers across the city, he likes his classic, funky and sexy sounds!

Finally, all the acts in the loft will be supported by the drums of the fantastic Pete Tonks (Ozone Breakdown). Pete Tonks has a wealth of experience in playing some pretty huge parties alongside some superb acts during his time behind the skins and has partied at some of the biggest and best events the Ozone crew have held, hold tight, Pete knows how to get down!

The event will showcase two rooms of house music, both with their own unique style and both offering a different taste of the dance music spectrum.

Two rooms, two vibes, one immense party!
