Indeed! ;)

I used to play competitively 2 times a week and trained twice a week as well, I still play once a week but since my fitness/ability has majorly decreased since beginning producing. :P

Worth it though!

I'm too scared to drop the money to upgrade from Live 8 intro to Live 8 full.

I'm still on FL8 as I'm terrified if I connect my studio machine to the Internet again and try to update to FL11, it'll explode on me.

It is, and I love it as though as it's a third hand.

Confession: I have a problem with using reverbs as direct channel inserts instead of sends.

Confession: I ask the question "what would [insert well-known producer] do at this point" more often then I probably should.

Confession: I often make broad generalized statements regarding the relative merits of analog vs. digital gear despite having absolutely no idea what I'm talking about.

Confession: Sometimes I use vengeance snares and kicks with no additional processing on them.

Confession: The first dubstep track I ever heard was scary monsters and nice sprites (not even joking on this one).

Confession: I place RMS values on a pedestal.

Confession: I often automatically follow conventional song structures and arrangement paradigms, without questioning whether or not these schools of thought should be challenged or modified. In other words, intro-buildup-drop-breakdown-buildup-drop-outro, every single track.

Confession: I have made multiple Katy Perry remixes.

Confession: I have about a 5% success rate when designing bass patches in FM8.

I use tweaked presets for probably about 40% of my synth sounds. Pretty much all of my basses are original patches but for pads and piano/keys stuff I usually find a nice preset and then do little tweaks to it. I never understood why people look down on this. If they're sitting there right in front of you, why not utilize them? And until I have the skills of a professional sound designer, I'd like to make use of their superior sound design skills. I mean I do sometimes make a pad or lead from scratch but usually tweaked presets end up sounding better. I never use a bare preset though, they're always altered in some way to make them my own.

I have on occasion converted wav's to 320's by burning them to a disk and then importing them back into my itunes. not sure if this even yields a proper 320 but it says it's a 320.

Whats wrong with that, if you rip into itunes in 320 why would it not be a proper 320? lol, It aint as if you are making 320s into wavs lol

why cant you just convert to 320 tho? or bounce out of your DAW to 320?
