All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

except it wouldn't be like that. I just don't get em, there is no progression, no skill. It's just run around and do shit till someone comes and kills you, then start again.

it might be more fun to play than to hear about but im not convinced yet

It is pretty fun really.
But you have to experience it for yourself.

I did get bored after a while but if I had a team of friends it would be better.

I'd kill for a new Dawn of War / Company of Heroes. Company of Heroes 2 doesn't count.

There seems to be quite a few survival games scheduled to come out for PS4/XB1 that I'd be interesting in trying out. Dying Light and the new Alien game have my interest currently. I haven't really had any experience with survival games but there is something that I do like about the idea of not having a complete armory in your backpack so you can't just shoot through everything. That element is what I've really enjoyed about the Assassins Creed games where, in order to complete an objective (or constraint), you need to reach your target undetected and without entering combat. I like the whole strategic approach to games, problem solving and trying to plan ahead etc. (unless, of course, I'm playing GTA ).

I made it yesterday after about 7 tries when the minimum is only like 3, the Omega Frost guy gave me many second chances for trying. Did my last one before going to bed, couldn't believe I made it when I woke up

Unless you're a bored WoW veteran just pony up the $15 per month and play the real thing. Good private servers (if you can call them that) get shut down/ddos'd constantly. Shitty servers are buggy as hell. Custom servers get boring after a few hours.

The only positive for private servers is a tight knit community (if you can find one), since the populations are way smaller.

That being said Wow's community is made up of kids and old fart losers, but I guess you can say that for pretty much all video games.

Either way WoW is the best game I ever played and every gamer should at least try the end game for a while. I used to rip on WoW players all the time in high school, but I found out first hand why it's the most successful mmo ever.

I played WoW for a long time, started when TBC came out and Raided through to Lich King but I just wanted something to play on and off, don't want to "get back into wow" really, so I'm just playing for nostalgia really. This private server seems pretty good but I'm still levelling.

And yeh, WoW was/possibly still is the best MMORPG ever. Dunno about the post-WOTLK though, stopped there.
