look seriously guys, Young Thug and Yung Lean are both great. The reason why they're so great is just because they are great

Like calling your crew SADBOYS or having phrases like "SALISBURY STEAK SWEATER" take up half your hook.
lil b is on a completely different level and not a joke at all fuck you

No, and tbf, if people only listened to music you didn't think was absolutely awful, 99% of people on here would have their choice cut down by 99%.

Yung Lean has a good flow IMO, and Yung Gud and Yung Sherman's beats smash it. "Kyoto" is a fuckin banger. Yung Lean is just weird, which is a good thing, plenty of rap in other styles available.

"Internet Rap" lol

i get what he's after with "internet rap" but that's a visual appearance and image thing rather than music, i mean using comic sans, crude photoshops etc as your artwork

tru, but Yung Lean's mixtape art is better than the majority of mixtape art.

Also, I don't have any problem with images in rap, every rapper has an exaggerated/completely made up image they maintain.

If you like the majority of american rap but don't like yung lean then looool, i really don't see the difference. Meaningless boasting waffle for lyrics and massively exaggerated persona.

The only difference is that yung lean has good beats and, depending on your opinion, is doing it all somewhat ironically.

Read an interview with him before, around the time Sadboys 2001 came out, just seems like he's doing it cos he likes rapping about stuff he likes (Arizona Ice Tea), making up weird shit, and copying the rappers he likes.

Just happens he's from Sweden.

Shock, as white/foreign rapper isn't taken seriously.

Yung Lean is on par with that finnish guy who covered Juicy. Or on par with that shitty Swedish rapper chick who was on boiler room @ carnival. Or this fucking guy.

his beats are like any other trendy rapper at the moment. That Kyoto song is the best example.

I saw the nutcracker at the National ballet over chirstmas and thought it was pretty cool . I mean they do some mental stuff. Seeing a proper good version of Swan lake would be sick I reckon.

Well, it was my lady's choice (Giselle), but I wasn't exactly dragged. It was pretty dope.
